Songen vart òg spelt av The Mamas & the Papas som ein ballade i 1967.
Phil Spector produserte originalversjonen i 1961 for Top Notes, men dette var før han hadde utvikla «Wall of Sound»-teknikken han seinare vart kjend for og innspelinga mangla energien som gruppa viste på konsertar og vart heller ikkje særleg populær.[1]
